DIY Upcycled Wine Cork Wreath (or Trivet)
A fast & fun way to use up & enjoy some of those wine bottle corks you’ve been collecting!
Hi Friends! Today I want to share a quick tutorial on making a wine cork wreath—which I used as an accent in my kitchen for a wine tasting I had recently. This is a fun way to use up left over corks and make a quick and easy craft.
Now, let’s back up…I love wine. I come from a family who has made wine and has owned two wineries for years. I grew up tending to grape vines and traveling with my parents to visit some of the finest vineyards in the world. Read My Family Winery Story post.
So, since I love wine and also hate to throw anything away, I started collecting wine corks. I’ve made bulletin boards and trays with corks in the past but I was trying to think of a way to make some sort of trivet for my kitchen when I came up with this idea. I had a small wreath in my craft room that I had no use for and I figured it would be the perfect base for glueing my corks onto something!
Materials For UPcycled Wine Cork Wreath:
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Left over wine corks
Sturdy small wreath form
